Offences Against Women and Children
A man who deceitfully causes a woman (not lawfully married to him) to believe she is lawfully married to him, and to cohabit/have intercourse with him on that false belief, is punished with up to 10 years' imprisonment plus fine.
This criminalises a specific serious deception: tricking a woman into believing a marriage is legally valid when it isn't, in order to have her cohabit or have sexual relations with the offender under that false belief.
A man who deliberately deceives a woman into believing they're legally married - perhaps through a fake ceremony or forged documents - specifically to obtain cohabitation or sexual relations under that false belief, commits this distinct offence.
