Offences Against Property
Dishonestly/fraudulently signing, executing, or becoming party to a property-transfer deed containing a false statement about the consideration paid or the real intended beneficiary, is punished with up to 3 years' imprisonment, fine, or both.
This criminalises deliberately lying about the true payment amount or true beneficiary in a formal property-transfer document.
Executing a property sale deed that falsely understates the actual purchase price, or falsely names a different real beneficiary than who's actually receiving the property, is an offence under this section.
