Offences Against Property
Dishonestly/fraudulently preventing a debt owed to oneself or another from being made legally available to pay one's own or that other's creditors is punished with up to 2 years' imprisonment, fine, or both.
This is the companion offence to Section 320, targeting fraudulently hiding a debt OWED TO YOU (an asset) rather than property you directly possess, again to cheat your own creditors.
Someone who is owed money by a third party, but fraudulently arranges to hide or forgo collecting that debt specifically to keep it out of reach of their own creditors, commits this offence.
