Offences Against Property
Dishonestly/fraudulently removing, concealing, delivering, or transferring property without adequate consideration, intending or knowing likely to prevent its lawful distribution among one's own or another's creditors, is punished with 6 months to 2 years' imprisonment, fine, or both.
This prevents a debtor from fraudulently hiding assets specifically to cheat their creditors out of a fair distribution when they're unable to pay their debts.
A debtor facing bankruptcy who secretly transfers assets to a relative's name, specifically to prevent creditors from being able to claim them, commits this offence.
