General Provisions
Nothing done in pursuance of, or warranted by, a Court's judgment/order (while it remains in force) is an offence - even if the Court lacked jurisdiction to pass it - provided the person acted in good faith believing the Court had that jurisdiction.
This protects people who carry out a court order in good faith - like a bailiff enforcing a judgment - from being held criminally liable later, even if it turns out the court that issued the order didn't actually have proper jurisdiction to do so.
A court officer who executes an eviction order in good faith, believing the issuing court had jurisdiction, is protected under this section even if a higher court later rules that jurisdiction was actually lacking.
