General Provisions
Nothing is an offence if done by a Judge acting judicially, exercising a power they have (or in good faith believe they have) by law.
This protects judges from criminal liability for their genuine judicial acts - decisions made in good faith while exercising what they believe to be their lawful judicial authority, even if it later turns out they lacked that specific power.
A judge who, acting in good faith, issues an order later found to be outside their strict jurisdiction is protected by this exception from being personally prosecuted for that judicial act.
