Delhi: Man arrested for sheltering two shooters accused in Aya Nagar Gym trainer murder case

According to reports from Delhi, law enforcement officials arrested a man for allegedly harbouring and providing shelter to two shooters involved in a gym trainer's murder. The incident took place in the Aya Nagar area of South Delhi on the morning of September 14. Investigators stated that bike-borne assailants approached the victim near Hansa Chowk at around 10:30 AM and fired approximately 10 to 12 rounds. The gym trainer sustained critical bullet injuries and subsequently succumbed to them.

Police recovered several bullet casings from the crime scene and suspect that the killing stemmed from a personal rivalry. Following the investigation, authorities apprehended a man accused of sheltering the suspected shooters. Police initiated questioning to determine the exact locations where the shooters were hidden and to investigate any potential involvement in the planning and execution of the homicide.

In a separate operation mentioned in the same reports, the Delhi Police Anti-Narcotics Cell and the Hauz Qazi Police Station arrested another individual on September 30 in the Ajmeri Gate area. Officers allegedly seized 1,200 prohibited nicotine-containing electronic cigarettes valued at approximately Rs 25 lakh from this suspect. Authorities handed that individual and the recovered property over to the police station for further legal proceedings.
