Articles 230, 231 and 232 (as originally enacted) were substituted with the current Articles 230 and 231 by the Constitution (Seventh Amendment) Act, 1956.
This is a technical drafting note rather than a substantive right or rule - it records that the original three articles here were consolidated into just two (230 and 231) by a 1956 amendment, which is why Article 232 today has no independent substantive content of its own.
This is a reminder that not every numbered article in the Constitution contains an active rule - some, like this one, are purely historical markers left over from past amendments that renumbered or consolidated earlier provisions.
