Offences Against Women and Children
Uttering words, making sounds/gestures, exhibiting an object, or intruding on a woman's privacy, intending to insult her modesty (and intending it to be heard/seen by her), is punished with up to 3 years' simple imprisonment plus fine.
This is a broad catch-all provision criminalising verbal or gestural sexual harassment and privacy intrusions intended to be degrading to a woman - covering conduct that may not involve physical contact but is still intended to insult her dignity.
Making crude, sexually offensive comments or gestures directed at a woman in public, intended for her to hear or see, is prosecutable under this broad provision even without any physical contact involved.
