Criminal Intimidation, Insult, Annoyance and Defamation
Voluntarily causing (or attempting) someone to act/omit an act by inducing belief that refusing will bring Divine displeasure on them or someone they care about, is punished with up to 1 year's imprisonment, fine, or both.
This targets coercion through manufactured religious/spiritual fear - a manipulation tactic sometimes used by fraudulent godmen or spiritual scammers to extract compliance or money from victims.
This is directly relevant to "black magic"/fake-godman scam schemes: someone who manipulates a victim into paying money or performing rituals by falsely inducing fear of divine punishment or curses commits this specific coercion offence, on top of any separate cheating charge.
