Offences Relating to Property Marks
(1) Falsely marking a goods-container in a way reasonably calculated to misrepresent its actual contents or their nature/quality is punished with up to 3 years' imprisonment, fine, or both - unless proven done without intent to defraud. (2) Using such a false mark is punished the same way.
This is the container-mislabelling counterpart to the property-mark offences, criminalising falsely marking a package to misrepresent what's actually inside it.
Falsely labelling a shipping container to misrepresent its actual contents or quality, intending to deceive a buyer or inspector, is an offence under this section.
