General Provisions
Nothing is an offence merely for causing, intending, or knowingly risking harm so slight that no person of ordinary sense and temperament would complain of it.
This is a "de minimis" (too trivial to matter) exception - the law doesn't concern itself with genuinely trivial harms that an ordinary reasonable person wouldn't even bother complaining about.
A minor, fleeting inconvenience that any reasonable person would simply shrug off doesn't rise to the level of a criminal offence under this section, even if it technically caused some minuscule harm.
