General Provisions
Harm caused to a consenting adult (18+) is not an offence, provided it wasn't intended and wasn't known to be likely to cause death or grievous hurt.
This protects genuinely consensual activities that carry some risk of minor harm - like contact sports - from being treated as criminal assault, as long as death or serious injury wasn't intended or foreseeably likely.
Two adults who agree to spar or fence for sport, and one accidentally injures the other during fair play (without intending or foreseeing serious harm), are protected by this consent-based exception.
