General Provisions
Nothing is an offence if done by someone incapable, due to intoxication, of knowing the act's nature or that it was wrong/illegal - provided the intoxicant was given without their knowledge or against their will.
This is a narrow defence: it only protects someone who was intoxicated AGAINST THEIR WILL (like being secretly drugged) - it does NOT protect someone who voluntarily chose to get drunk or high and then committed an offence.
Someone who was secretly drugged by another person (without their knowledge) and, while incapacitated, committed an act that would otherwise be an offence, could raise this defence - but someone who voluntarily got drunk cannot.
