Contempts of the Lawful Authority of Public Servants
Being legally bound by oath/affirmation to state the truth, and making a statement known/believed false, is punished with up to 3 years' imprisonment plus fine.
This criminalises actually lying under a sworn oath or affirmation to a public servant or authorised administrator, outside a formal judicial proceeding (which is separately covered by the false-evidence chapter that follows).
Lying under a sworn oath during an official administrative inquiry (not a full judicial trial) falls under this specific provision.
