Offences Against Public Tranquillity
If any unlawful-assembly member commits an offence in prosecution of the assembly's common object (or one members knew was likely), every member present at the time is guilty of that offence.
This is a powerful collective-liability rule - every member of an unlawful assembly is held guilty of an offence committed by any other member in pursuit of their shared goal, not just the person who directly committed it.
If one member of an unlawful assembly commits an assault in furtherance of the group's shared goal, every other member present at the time is equally guilty of that assault under this section.
