Offences Against the Human Body
If a child, person of unsound mind, delirious person, or intoxicated person commits suicide, whoever abetted that suicide is punished with death, life imprisonment, or up to 10 years' imprisonment plus fine.
This treats abetting the suicide of someone especially vulnerable (a child, or someone of unsound mind/delirious/intoxicated, who may not have been capable of a genuinely free choice) as a very serious offence, with punishment up to and including death - effectively treating it similarly to murder given the victim's diminished capacity to make that decision themselves.
Someone who instigates or manipulates a child into taking their own life faces this severe provision, reflecting that a child cannot be considered capable of genuinely, freely choosing suicide the way an adult might be presumed to.
