General Provisions
The consent-based exceptions in Sections 25-27 don't apply to acts that are offences independently of the harm caused to the consenting person.
This closes a potential loophole: if an act is already a crime for reasons that have nothing to do with the specific harm caused to the consenting person, that person's consent to the harm doesn't excuse the underlying offence.
Causing an illegal miscarriage remains an offence in its own right (independent of harm to the woman) - so even if the woman consents to the harm involved, that consent doesn't excuse the underlying illegal act, per this section's exclusion.
